General Information
Good Witch of the West: Astrea Testament is based off the Manga by Noriko Ogiwara. The anime originally ran from April 7th 2006 to June 30th 2006. It ran on various networks in Japan and is 13 episodes in length. The series is not currently released in the United States, fansubs aside.
The story centers around a young girl named Firiel. Firiel had just turned 15, which means that she will be able to attend a ball at the royal castle of the queen. On the same day, he biological father gives her a necklace that once belonged to her mother.
That night at the ball, Firiel wears the necklace that was given to her, however, it causes quite a commotion when the princess catches glimpse of the necklace, claming that it belongs to the royal family.
