Pretear
General Information
This anime series contains themes of Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Magical girl, and Romance. The story of the original manga that the anime was based off of was created by Junichi Satou, and the art was made by Kaori Naruse. The series is 13 episodes in length and ran from 4 April 2001 to 27 June 2001 on WOWOW Network in Japan.
The story revolves around a young woman by the name of Himeno Awayuki who tries to live a happy life despite the hardships around her. Recently her father remarried to a wealthy woman. Her two step-sisters, however, don't really approve of it, and do not treat Himeno with any respect, but even so, Himeno is always kind toward them.
One day Himeno runs into a mysterious young man, whom she later discovers is a Leafe Knights. Not only that, but Himeno becomes the Pretear and begins to fight alongside them all while dealing with her everyday life.
